The new SMR series includes SMR8000 desktop hardware RAID NVR, SMR8000U rack mount hardware RAID NVR and SMR6000H hybrid megapixel RAID NVR. The new SMR systems are professionally designed for megapixel surveillance, accommodating up to eight hot-swappable disk drives with hardware RAID and 5-time higher I/O performance than common PC solutions that can significantly reduce maintenance efforts and prevent video loss. The all-in-one form factor offers a highly integrated and proven solution for security integrators, minimising the installation, compatibility and maintenance issues associated with traditional PC+software solutions and enabling them to easily upgrade to professional megapixel surveillance solutions. The new SMR systems are well-suited for mission-critical environments, such as retail outlets, restaurants, hotels, schools, banks and factories.

In addition, all SMR models come with Surveon’s intuitive Video Management Software (VMS) and provide enterprise-level features such as real-time analytics, multiple display, mobile (iPhone) client, video bookmarking, instant playback, remote monitoring, HTML overlay, and centralised domain management easily scalable to thousands of channels.
