Surveon's hardware RAID SMR (Smart Megapixel Recorder) Series offers advantages unavailable on common PC-based NVR or software RAID NAS NVR. With many options available to users, including two to 116 disk drives and six to more than 500 channels for megapixel recording, the SMR Series provides installers with affordable yet powerful megapixel recording solutions.

The SMR8000 supports 32-channel megapixel cameras, hot-swappable disk drives and hardware RAID that ensure system performance and stability. In addition, all SMR products are based on VMS 2.4.5 and provide enterprise-level features such as real-time VI, multi-display, domain management, video bookmarking and smart search.
