Surveon, the complete megapixel solutions provider, continues to strengthen its megapixel recording solutions and recently showcased its latest hardware RAID NVR solution, the SMR8000 Series, at ASIS 2011, held in Orlando, USA from September 19 to 21.

Surveon's hardware RAID SMR (Smart Megapixel Recorder) Series offers advantages unavailable on common PC-based NVR or software RAID NAS NVR. With many options available to users, including two to 116 disk drives and six to more than 500 channels for megapixel recording, the SMR Series provides installers with affordable yet powerful megapixel recording solutions.

The SMR8000 supports 32-channel megapixel cameras, hot-swappable disk drives and hardware RAID that ensure system performance and stability. In addition, all SMR products are based on VMS 2.4.5 and provide enterprise-level features such as real-time VI, multi-display, domain management, video bookmarking and smart search. Surveon's NVR2000 series were also highlighted at ASIS 2011. As the only NVR solution available on the market today that features embedded hardware RAID controllers, NVR2000 delivers 400+ MBps Read/Write performance to help system integrators safeguard system stability and achieve seamless megapixel recording.
