Surveon, the complete megapixel solutions provider announced the latest upgrade of the Enterprise NVR2100 series. The new NVR2100 supports truly 64-channel Full HD megapixel recording up to 1920 FPS (30 FPS per channel) and meets any recording requirement from 48 to 448TB.  System integrators can easily manage hundreds of channels by cascading multiple NVR2100 systems with Surveon’s client-server CMS architecture.

Built-in with the premium grade storage subsystem, the enterprise RAID NVR2164 system provides high I/O, large capacities, and overall system stability necessary for scalable projects. The NVR2164 system is equipped with the Intel quad-core Xeon platform and supports the SAS and iSCSI based storage. The enterprise-grade RAID storage controllers offer high performance levels, while hot-swappable, redundant components such as cable design, cooling fan modules and power supplies help ensure excellent system reliability and easy maintenance.

“The common I/O performance for the PC/NVR storage is mainly based on the sequential reading and small size I/O,” said Casper, Wu, product manager of Surveon. “It is a well-known fact that the random I/O, always recycling and writing will decrease the system performance and reliability, especially for 24/7 non-stop megapixel recording. The enterprise RAID subsystem of Surveon NVR2100 series has a proven record of 200,000 installations worldwide and is efficient to support multiple megapixel recording.”

The NVR2100 series offers DAS and iSCSI models to meet user requirements ranging from medium to large surveillance projects. The DAS models offer easy-to-use, all-in-one solutions featuring built-in disk drives that are ideal for 32 to 64 channels. The iSCSI models provide advanced solutions that are designed for centralised storage configurations connected to multiple servers, and are ideal for scalable applications featuring 64 to 2,000 channels in sectors such as transportation, building complex, and urban surveillance.

Designed 100% in-house, Surveon NVR2100 series provides many advantages compared to commercial off-the-shelf and PC/NVR solutions. The NVR2100 systems deliver professional video appliances and have gone through a comprehensive QA process including hundreds of hours of rigorous assurance testing on performance and integration validation to offer high quality and reliability.
