ABUS offers a complete range of HD-SDI products: HD-SDI video surveillance cameras, video surveillance recorders, and accessories
ABUS offers a complete range of sophisticated HD-SDI products from a single source

Sharp video surveillance images in HD quality at full frame rates, transmitted uncompressed via conventional coaxial cable – that is what HD-SDI stands for. ABUS offers a complete range of sophisticated HD-SDI products from a single source: HD-SDI video surveillance cameras, HD-SDI video surveillance recorders, and accessories. At the 2014 Security Essen trade fair, ABUS will be presenting four new HD-SDI products which form a logical addition to the existing HD-SDI range: the Universal HD-SDI Dome, the Universal HD-SDI Tube, the Outdoor HD-SDI 20 x PTZ Dome and the 16-channel HD-SDI Digital Recorder.

ABUS delivers exactly what the market demands: a complete HD-SDI range. At the 2014 Security Essen trade fair, the company will be presenting three new HD-SDI cameras and an HD-SDI recorder which open up more possible applications for the technology. Compared to conventional analogue CCTV installations, HD-SDI products offer users much higher image quality in line with the HD standard (1920 x 1080p or 1280 x 720) – with the same fast and uncomplicated installation. Due to its high resolution, an HD-SDI camera can replace several analogue cameras.

A complete HD-SDI product range from a single source

The existing ABUS HD-SDI portfolio, consisting of outdoor domes, outdoor IR tubes, day/night standard cameras, a day/night zoom camera, and a 4-channel or 8-channel HD-SDI digital recorder, will see the introduction of the following four new products:

Universal HD-SDI Dome IR

The new Universal HD-SDI Dome IR with 720p resolution to HD standard @ 25 fps is proven to be dust- and weather-proof in line with the IP66 protection class. Thanks to built-in IR LEDs, it provides optimal image quality day and night, with a focal length of 3.6 mm.

Universal HD-SDI Tube

With protection class IP66, the Universal HD-SDI Tube 720p is optimally equipped for harsh ambient conditions. Integrated into the robust, impact-resistant, dust-proof and weatherproof housing is a varifocal lens with a focal length of 3.6 mm. The camera model has an electromechanically removable IR cut filter to ensure the best possible image quality both during the day and at night.

Outdoor HD-SDI 20 x PTZ Dome

The outdoor HD-SDI 20 x PTZ Dome is in a class of its own: with full HD 1080p resolution and a 20 x motorised zoom lens with built-in IR LEDs (range of up to 80 m), and packaged in a weather-resistant housing with protection class IP66 and integrated heating, it meets virtually every need. The camera is therefore especially suitable for round the clock monitoring of parking lots and vehicle entrances and exits, as well as particularly dusty indoor spaces, such as warehouses.

HD-SDI digital recorder now with 16 channels

The success of the ABUS 4-channel and 8-channel HDI-SDI recorder has given rise to the latest innovation: with the ABUS 16-channel HD-SDI digital recorder, Security Essen 2014 is celebrating another high-end HD-SDI product premiere. The best part: it can record the video signals of up to 16 HD-SDI cameras in full resolution and play them back (1920 x 1080) in real time. It can support up to 4 SATA hard disk drives. Video surveillance recordings can be accessed directly via the device, over the network and using the ABUS iDVR app for Android and Apple smartphones.
