Whether during the day or at night, indoors or outdoors – the new generation of PTZ network domes allows the video surveillance specialist ABUS Security-Centre to focus on an inconspicuous, and yet highly effective, observation. Once integrated into existing IP networks, the new 24-hour guards combine all the flexibility of speed domes with the optical precision and long-term availability of network cameras.

Everywhere video surveillance is required at the same time as maximum flexibility, high performance and durability, the new pan-tilt-zoom network indoor and outdoor cameras from ABUS are the first choice. Available as indoor or outdoor versions equipped with a swivelling 20x motor zoom lens and HD 1080p (1920 x 1080 @ 25 fps) or HD 720p resolution (1280 x 720 @ 25 fps), these ONVIF-compatible devices make the surveillance of large-scale premises possible. Thanks to the zoom function and high resolution images, the person watching always retains an overview without having to forego any details. Even when there is little light, razor-sharp images are recorded: the 3D DNR function reduces disturbing image noise to a minimum. When there is hardly any light, the cameras keep operating in the ultra-sensitive black/white mode and continue to provide clear images. Even the effects of weather will not impact the PTZ domes: the outdoor version is certified with protection class IP 66.

Monitoring every turn

The new PTZ network dome cameras barely miss a detail. Suspicious movements by persons and objects can be detected, enlarged, identified and tracked from a distance. Manual control mode can be accessed using the control panel, PC or app. Thanks to auto-flip, immediate 180-degree reversal of the camera head is possible, ensuring it can swivel beyond the zero point. Featuring seven alarm inputs and two alarm outputs, the cameras can be configured for individual requirements. Furthermore, the user will find eight programmable tours to use, each with 32 preset positions.

Integrated privacy masking

Protecting the private sphere in non-authorised observation areas, such as directly adjacent properties, is made possible by defining up to eight privacy maskings in one camera. These remain at the defined location – regardless of the camera pans.

Everything from one source

To ensure the PTZ network domes are installed professionally, ABUS provides specialised installers with complete surveillance solutions: from digital video recorders to video management software (VMS) exclusive to ABUS and even control panels, mast, corner and wall mounts and monitors, as well as other accessories.
