ABUS offers tailored solutions for seamless, smart property security for all kinds of premises
This campaign seizes upon the positive response to the locking system that ABUS received from its specialist dealer partners

Exactly two years ago, ABUS Pfaffenhain presented a new generation of locking systems at the 2012 Security Essen trade fair in the form of the Bravus system. Since then, ABUS has successfully placed this high-quality reversible key system on the market. There is a great demand for the new system both amongst specialist dealers and amongst users. In order to further boost the marketing of the product, ABUS launched a campaign this summer with an advertising slogan that is a first for the industry.

'Have fun with Bravus' is the new campaign slogan. This marketing campaign seizes upon the positive response to the locking system that ABUS received from its specialist dealer partners, and unites this with the product, marking a new approach for the company when it comes to communications and imagery.

The locking system that offers ideal solutions to all needs and desires: above all, specialist installation contractors value the Bravus' high standard of security and its wide range of applications, from high-security blocking mechanisms right up to large, complex locking systems. For end customers, the reliable protection against skeleton keys and convenient reversible key are its main advantages. The Bravus is also excellent value for money, which is another plus for users. "The new advertising slogan and the product are attracting a lot of attention from my customers. That's because the Bravus combines attractive design with ultimate security – and that makes it one of our best-sellers," says Albrecht Felgner, CEO of Felgner Sicherheitstechnik.

With its unique combination of technology patented until 2030*, unlimited trademark protection and supreme technical copy protection, the Bravus meets even the highest security requirements. The four compatible system levels offer personalised solutions for various private, commercial and public applications. "The Bravus has made outstanding progress since it was put on the market. The product has been well received both in the locking system and in the blocking mechanism sectors. Individual Bravus profiles in particular are very attractive to our specialist dealer partners, as they provide enormous design freedom and a high level of flexibility," states Michael Ulrich, CEO of ABUS Pfaffenhain GmbH.

ABUS offers tailored solutions for seamless, smart property security for all kinds of premises. For example, the Bravus mechanical locking system can be linked with electronic components on the premises at any time – either immediately ex works, or later during retrofitting. The entire locking system can be conveniently operated with only one key plus transponder cap (for example the Combi Cap).
