This year's Security Essen was another complete success for ABUS
The four ABUS group companies presented their new packaging concept as well as sales support solutions

Around 40,000 visitors from over 110 countries flocked to the Messe Essen conference centre in the last week of September 2014. When they arrived, the many attendees were welcomed with the ABUS Group's conference motto: "Welcome to a world of security". At our 550 m² exhibition space, they were able to see the networked security solutions available to the consumers of today and tomorrow at first hand. Alongside numerous product innovations, the four ABUS group companies presented their new worldwide packaging concept as well as sales support solutions for specialist trade partners.

In keeping with the topic of integrated system solutions, networking was at the heart of the ABUS group's presence at this year's trade fair. Industry professionals were shown how products from the areas of mechanics, electronics, alarm systems and video surveillance can be combined in integrated security systems. The four companies operating under the ABUS brand – August Bremicker Söhne KG, ABUS Security-Center GmbH & Co. KG, ABUS Pfaffenhain GmbH and ABUS SECCOR GmbH – demonstrated, amongst other things, a new generation of mechanical security accessories featuring an integrated alarm function, a new range of IP cameras for professional users, mechanical and electronic entry control systems, as well as the new Secvest wireless alarm system. Alongside these were solutions from the 'safety at work' field: an entirely new market segment, which attracted a great deal of attention amongst visitors.

"This year's Security Essen was another complete success for ABUS. Over the trade fair's four days, around 120 of our employees were able to present an extensive portfolio of innovations to our numerous international guests. We have also received extremely positive feedback from various opinion makers – both for our market-orientated security solutions and for our contribution to preventative educational work, in programmes such as our premium partnership with the 'K-Einbruch' home security initiative, for example" says Michael Bräuer, Marketing Director at ABUS.

Those responsible already have the next event in September 2016 marked in their calendar, and not just because this year's experience was so positive.
