CRYPTOCard, a leading developer of two-factor authentication (2FA) technology, today announced that award winning virtualisation and cloud computing specialists, Intercept, is the latest company to adopt its award winning managed authentication service CRYPTO-MAS.

Bundling CRYPTO-MAS into its portfolio of virtual application and network services, Intercept is able to deliver added value and security to its customers' IT infrastructures.   

Gary Collins, CIO of Intercept, a business which has virtualised more than 5,000 servers and over 100,000 desktops across the UK commented: "Adopting CRYPTOCard's managed authentication service is a natural fit for our business, as we place great importance on offering customers leading edge managed services capabilities with proven security." 

"During the past two years we have seen our revenue grow 83 percent, with managed services being the powerhouse of this trend, increasing by more than 400 percent in the last two years, and now accounting for 30 percent of revenues.  This tremendous increase in demand makes the alliance with CRYPTOCard very beneficial as it will strengthen our portfolio and help to offer greater value to our customers," says Gary.

Intercept will be working closely with CRYPTOCard to educate customers on the benefits of access security when building virtual networks to support flexible working based around Citrix and Microsoft environments.

"This relationship adds weight to our strong belief that virtual or cloud based services are fast coming of age and service providers like Intercept can take advantage of our Passwords-as-a-Service solution to add that essential security element," says Neil Hollister, CEO of CRYPTOCard.
