Brickcom meets wireless networking technology company's needs for IP-based surveillance solution
Brickcom Corp. helped a wireless networking technology company in the county of Hsinchu, Taiwan. To meet the company's needs for an IP-based surveillance solution, a highly integrated and scalable system is required to cover the headquarters, parking area, factories and dormitory. It is a complex project because there are over one hundred spots distributed in a number of different sites that need to be monitored. "Brickcom provided us with a complete and high-quality solution. We thought it would be very troublesome to set up and manage so many cameras, but Brickcom did help us alleviate the process and solve our problems with management. The CMS software allows us to monitor the whole panorama in one single remote control room. We are impressed by the great expertise and experience of Brickcom and are very glad to work with them," said the spokesman of the company.

In this application, Brickcom provided IP cameras (fixed box FB-100A and fixed dome FD-100A) with HD-grade video/images, the network video recorder (NVR) for storage of the video/images, and the powerful central management system (CMS) administrating the whole surveillance system. The H.264 compression offers a minimum consumption of the storage space and bandwidth and delivers excellent video quality. Moreover, for the parking area and the dormitory, the transmission of data and power via PoE reduces the inconvenience of the IP CAM deployment. This solution enables the remote monitoring and recording, which makes security surveillance an easy task for the security manager.
