A recent contract allows ComNet to bring their fibre optic and Ethernet transmission products to government

Communication Networks of Danbury, Connecticut, doing business as ComNet™, the leading manufacturer of fibre optic transmission and networking equipment, has named Victor Milani as the company's Government Sales Manager. Victor will be responsible for the company's United States Government sales effort. ComNet's recent award of a United States General Services Administration contract number allows ComNet to bring their fibre optic and Ethernet transmission products to government agencies and allows them to purchase off the GSA schedule.

"ComNet is one of the few remaining fibre optic and Ethernet transmission product companies that still design and manufacture in the United States," said Andrew Acquarulo Jr., ComNet President and Chief Operations Officer.

"The US Government strongly supports buying products that are made in the USA. Vic will be tasked to deliver that message as well as the many price and performance advantages ComNet products offer. Vic has a terrific understanding of the security market and the advantages that optical fibre brings to a security system. This adds a great perspective on how our line of ComNet fibre optic and Ethernet products can be beneficial to our Government customers," Acquarulo continued.

Vic Milani has over 35 years of experience in the security market and has held many different roles within the industry

"This role is a great new challenge for me. There is so much opportunity with Government sales. It's very exciting to work for a company whose plan for success is based on cutting edge product development and a commitment to truly supporting the customer. I know that's what the ComNet goal is and I anticipate great success," continued Milani.

Vic Milani has over 35 years of experience in the security market and has held many different roles within the industry. He has a Degree in Business management from the State University of New York at Farmingdale. Milani will be based in the ComNet Corporate offices in Danbury, CT.
