Axxon, EMEA market leader in VMS, has signed a distribution agreement with Cieffe Benelux

Cieffe Benelux has built a strong reputation throughout its four main country markets as a leading distributor of integrated IP security equipment.  It works with over eighty integration partners across the region it serves and provides sales, support and training for its customers supplying the latest surveillance and building management technologies ranging from network cameras, DVRs, access control and VMS.

Based in Vilvoorde in Belgium, on the north-eastern outskirts of Brussels, Cieffe Benelux has worked with its partners on projects with enterprise customers ranging from manufacturing to retail, petrol refining and distribution to diamond houses.

Cieffe Benelux selected Axxon as it is seeing increased demand for video management software based on open standards that can support and manage a wide range of inputs such as video feeds from analogue and IP cameras, access control points and alarms.  Its partners are also demanding rich functionality from VMS including facial recognition and automatic number plate recognition which are already included in solutions such as Axxon Intellect.

Bob Klein, managing director, Cieffe Benelux commented:

"We are impressed by Axxon's commitment to open standards and proven scalability which is clearly demonstrated by its huge Moscow Safe City implementation.  Our partners want VMS solutions which are compatible with the widest range of surveillance equipment, have advanced features and can open the possibilities for wider building and facilities management."

Luis Coello, EMEA business development director, Axxon, explained:
