CNL Software and Observation Technologies have collaborated to provide innovative technology solutions

CNL Software, a world leader in Physical Security Information Management (PSIM) software, has entered into a technology partnership with Observation Technologies (ObsTek) Inc, developers of Radar Systems. Observation Technologies (ObsTek) Inc., was founded in 1986 and specialises in converting sensor observations into useful information for commercial and military customers.

ObsTek provides a range of products for Port Security, Port and Coastal VTIS and  unique Radar and Systems solutions to complex problems. Their products can be found throughout the world protecting offshore oil assets, ports, facilities with waterside exposure, and an entire country's coastline. The company promotes innovative solutions with a strong focus on research, design, development, fabrication and integration of special purpose sensor systems for commercial, industrial and military applications.

Michael Parisi, CEO of ObsTek, commented, "We are seeing more reliance on radar and sensor information for protecting water ways, coastline and ports across the globe. What's important is what you do with this information once in the control room. Our partnership with CNL Software enables seamless access to this information, so it can be rapidly acknowledged, understood and distributed for real time situation management."

"ObsTek have a strong background in radar and sensor data management, their technology will strengthen our offering to the market. We have lots of interest from a number of ports and this integration will increase our flexibility," emphasises Matthew Kushner, President, CNL Americas. "This technology agreement combines CNL's industry leading PSIM software with ObsTek's extensive expertise in radar technology, and will allow us to work together in future port projects."
