CNL announces the appointment of Darren Chalmers-Stevens as Professional Services Manager
CNL, a leading developer of Physical Security Information Management (PSIM) software, is pleased to announce the appointment of Darren Chalmers-Stevens as Professional Services Manager. Darren is a well respected name in the global security industry, with ten years of management experience. His primary responsibility will be to oversee all delivery of client projects which use CNL's PSIM software.

Darren has had significant exposure to all facets of the security industry, both logical and physical. This fits in well with the industry's transition into converged solutions, which use a combination of logical and physical systems to provide complete enterprise wide security.

Darren's most recent role was DVS Business Manager and Lead Physical Security Consultant for IBM's Security & Privacy business across UKISA, where he advised enterprise customers on strategy, priorities and integration methods for best practise within IBM's Smarter Planet initiative. Darren was responsible for creating, delivering, managing and growing new opportunities for IBM's DVS group.

He has had senior security management roles at CNL and VERITAS / Symantec. With Darren's breadth of experience and depth of understanding of both IT and security management, he is uniquely qualified to ensure partners and their customers receive the optimal solutions for their evolving security needs.

Keith Bloodworth, CEO at CNL, commented: "We continue to build a world class team around IPSecurityCenter and am delighted to have Darren back with us again. Our PSIM projects have continued to grow significantly, both in their scale and their locations. We now have projects on four continents, and are adding to this on a monthly basis. Only last month, CNL took a major order for what is probably the world's largest PSIM implementation."

This latest addition to CNL is part of a rapid growth plan to provide representation of CNL's software throughout the major markets. They have recently announced the addition of new partners, new senior US positions and have committed to several international security shows.
