Neil Ames, Commercial Director, Axis Security
Axis Security has promoted Neil Ames to the role of Commercial Director
Axis Security, one of the country's fastest growing security service providers, has promoted Neil Ames to the role of Commercial Director following the recent strategic merger with Temple Security.

Neil joined Axis Security as Commercial Manager in December 2007. He has over 19 years experience in the manned guarding industry, having started as Contract Manager for Security Express at London's Southbank Centre in 1990. In 1995 Neil joined First Security as an Operations Manager, before moving into the sales department in 1998.

In his two years at Axis, Neil has contributed to the success of the business, and has helped shape the strategic direction of the company. "As the company continues to grow, the new role as Commercial Director builds on my previous experience," says Neil. "I will now be responsible for all sales and marketing activity in London, managing a team of Commercial Managers and sales support personnel."

Neil has extensive knowledge of the London marketplace and understands the requirements and expectations of blue chip companies requiring a high quality manned guarding service in the capital. "I am delighted to have the opportunity to help expand the business yet further, and look forward to the challenges the new role will bring," Neil concludes.

Commenting on the appointment, Jonathan Levine, Managing Director of Axis Security added: "Axis Security has gone from strength to strength since December 2007, and Neil has played a crucial role in this growth."

"While the recent merger with Temple Security follows demand from Axis Security's London and City-based clients to deliver the same quality of service to regional offices, London and the City remains a key area of focus. With Neil's knowledge and experience in the London marketplace, his appointment will help continue this focus and growth."
