Pecan CCTV have added two new colour options and two mounting accessories for their highly successful VRD130CMHVL colour/mono vandal-resistant dome.

Since its introduction the firm's ‘eyeball' designed dome has proved to be extremely popular and many thousands have been sold for a wide variety of external applications. However Pecan's policy of continued review and refinement has resulted in product enhancement and the addition of several new options.

For example heated front glass has been added to improve the dome's performance in cold weather and in response to customer requests the VRD130CMHVL is now available in three colours - Cool Grey (VRD130CMHVL-CG) and White (VRD130CMHVL-W) as well as the original Gunmetal Grey.

The vandal-resistant dome still features its IP66 weather-resistant cast aluminium housing but there are two new accessory options that make installation even easier than before. Now customers can either choose the recently introduced wall mount bracket (VRD130WBT) or the new VRD130DB - a deep base unit that allows the cables to be terminated at the base of the dome.

Ideal for any exterior surveillance application the VRD130CMHVL is particularly suited for installations in vulnerable areas of car parks, supermarkets, hotels and other venues as well as industrial and commercial premises.
