PPM 2000 Inc., the industry's leading developer of Incident Reporting and Investigation Management software, recently introduced a series of enhancements to the Perspective by PPM 2000 product line, including the next generation of DispatchLog and the new Perspective Mobile.

Brian McIlravey, PPM's Co-CEO and lead product strategist, announced the release, "We structured Perspective Version 3.0 around the entire Incident Management process-from planning, to response, to documentation-and how an integrated approach to Incident Management can help you standardise processes and consolidate data. With 3.0 and our new DispatchLog and Mobile options, corporate security can effectively manage all three phases of an incident by acting on critical, real-time data while capturing the key who, what, when, where details."

Perspective's new DispatchLog has been redesigned from the ground up with new architecture, a new interface and expanded functionality. Guided by the dispatching requirements of our Advisory Board-a compilation of Perspective users from multinationals, healthcare facilities and college campuses-DispatchLog features regulated time to act, custom alerts, standard operating procedures, configurable views and a built-in mass notification engine.

PPM's second new addition to their product line-Perspective Mobile-offers an in-the-field, real-time connection to the Perspective database. Security officers, managers and investigators can now interact with Perspective from any mobile device. They can create new incidents or search existing records to add photos or enter notes. They can also search across Perspective to answer in-the-field questions like, ‘Did we deal with this person before?' or ‘Don't we have that car on file as a suspicious vehicle?' With several options for today's most popular devices (including smartphones and tablets), Perspective Mobile offers real-time access from anywhere, at any time.

Both DispatchLog and Mobile are available with the release of Perspective 3.0, the latest upgrade to PPM's enterprise-level Incident Management solution. Also available with 3.0: a redesigned dashboard and an all-new activity tracking component.
