Smart detection with megapixel network cameras

Tanzania is the largest country of East Africa. Zanzibar is the semi-autonomous part of Tanzania in East. The Presidential Office is one among sixteen Ministries established in the seventh phase of the revolutionary government of Zanzibar. After years of use, the security system of the Presidential Office is no longer fit the bill. For this reason, the Presidential Office decided to upgrade its old security system which is intended to replace the aging cameras with more advanced ultra-smart cameras.  

Dahua’s ultra-smart network cameras have been chosen for its outstanding resolution as well as smart functions. Dahua’s 3-Megapixel network camera, HDBW8301, offers diverse designs and shapes, featuring ultra codec and smart detection. HDBW8301 supports max 25/30fps@3MP encoding and features in triple-stream codec, enabling customised configuration on codec, frame rate and bit rate depending on various purposes. It is mainly used inside of the building and it is able to fight crime and protect property, acting both to detect and deter.

As for smart detection, ultra-smart series supports intelligent analytics such as tripwire, intrusion detection, abandoned/missing, scene change, defocus, facial detection and audio detection, allowing automatically detect under rulemaking and trigger alarms, accordingly. It is an intelligent camera which perfectly fits the security needs of an important place like Presidential Office.

Upgrading network video recorders

As for the outdoor perimeter, the Presidential Office chose Dahua 2-Megapixel full HD 30x ultra-smart network IR PTZ dome camera—SD6A230. It supports up to max 25/30fps@1080P encoding. It is perfectly suitable for outdoors surveillance. The IR distance is up to 150 meters, and it also supports auto tracking which means a moving object or a person can be tracked automatically and recorded, without any manual operation or any operator intervention. Meanwhile, Dahua’s 2-Magapixel full HD network IR zoom cameras, SDW2030S, are also installed to better enhance the security from the outside.

In addition to those cameras, Dahua also upgrades the NVRs for the office which is NVR6000DR. It supports max 128 channel IP cameras in put with 1080P real-time live view. It is able to provide smooth video streams.
