The cooperation with QNAP further enriches system choices for customers

Dahua Technology Co.,Ltd., has officially announced the establishment of a partnership with QNAP—Dahua’s full range of HD network cameras (ranging from 1.3MP to 3MP) have been successfully integrated with QNAP VioStor NVR.

Dahua’s network cameras deliver superb image quality at H.264/MJPEG video codec by adopting image sensors of various sizes and advanced TI (Texas Instruments) DaVinci DSP. The IP cameras support dual-stream encoding, which ensures that video streams can be separately transmitted for different purposes at various demands. The supported SD card also removes the inconvenience incurred by Internet interruption. The various camera shapes and sizes further enrich customers choice range. In addition, the customised functions such as dual power supply, PoE and Wi-Fi etc are developed to tailor to customers needs as well. Recently, Dahua Technology introduced motorised lens IPCs, which triggered lots of inquiries, and the IPC-2100 series continued its heat with its selectable shapes and appearance and outstanding performance.

QNAP Systems, Inc. is dedicated to bringing world class NAS storage, professional NVR video surveillance, leveraging not only hardware design but also a growing core competency in software engineering. Its VioStor stand-alone NVR offers remote monitoring from multiple servers, supporting up to 128 channels of video with rich network video functionality. In VioStor firmware V3.6.0, further improvements include the enhanced system reliability for long-term recording and the newly supported hard disk warning alert which offers pop-up reminder about the disk operation time when the value reaches the preset hours, effectively keeping the administrators well informed of the hard disk status before any hard disk fails completely.

“Dahua Technology has been playing quite an important role in the mainland market; we’re very pleased about this cooperation,” said Kent Chung, product manager of QNAP. “As always, we’ve been devoted to the compatibility of the reputed IPC brands in the global dimension, and this cooperation with Dahua extends the selection range for our customers once again.” Chung added. Peter, the Network Camera Product Manager from Dahua Technology also expressed his satisfaction with this cooperation: “QNAP is the expert in video storage and solution. The integration is smooth and successful. Dahua Technology has committed itself to offering customers high-end product quality, and the cooperation with QNAP further enriches system choices for customers. We’re looking forward to widening our cooperation in the coming days.”
