SENKOADL expands sales forces

Nigel Paine recruited as part of SENKOADL's sales team

UK-based lens manufacturer SENKOADL has recruited Nigel Paine as part of its sales force.  Nigel has returned to selling lenses for a manufacturer after eight years in a similar role for Pentax and is looking forward to the challenge of opening up new market sectors.

He said: "I will be striving to increase SENKO's penetration of the marketplace by attracting new distributors to take on the product range as well as working with OEMs.  Of course the industry is going through a difficult period but we have already recorded a few successes both in taking on new clients as well as getting former customers back on board."

He will be active in pursuing the ANPR market for which SENKO's lenses are particularly well suited as well as building on recent successes in the machine vision sector where the company wishes to take on a distributor.

Nigel was married during the summer in Slovakia with many members of the UK CCTV industry travelling to the event.  His wife, Jana née Gresova, is also from the security sector and Nigel met her while she was working for North London distributor ECCTVS.  Jana now works in sales for Merit LILIN.

Nigel is a keen cyclist and with Jana sharing his enthusiasm for two wheels, the pair cover many miles around Northamptonshire in their leisure time and have even been spotted on a borrowed tandem.
