After successfully securing the Olympic stadium in Kiev, Nedap Security Management announced recently that it will also secure the new Lviv stadium which is to be used in the UEFA 2012 European Championship.
The Lviv stadium, which is still under construction, covers an area of 9 hectares and will have a gross capacity of 33,000 seats. It will consist of VIP-clubs, galleries, restaurants, a media centre, training centres and administrative offices. The hypermodern stadium was looking for a modern and advanced security system that is capable of handling both the access control for approximately 390 doors and the intrusion detection for the complete stadium. AEOS was the perfect fit.
The doors will be secured with Convexs Mifare readers from Nedap, providing access for employees and contractors. The unique AEOS functionality Security Levels, will be used to ensure that security managers can respond quickly and appropriately to security incidents. Nedap's long range TRANSIT readers will provide comfortable access to the parking lots, where Nedap SENSITS will be installed to manage the free parking spaces.
The Nedap AEOS system will be implemented by Nedap's certified business partner ISK Transexpo Ltd. from Kiev, Ukraine.
