Nedap Security Management all set to exhibit new version of AEOS at Security Essen 2010
Nedap will launch a completely revised graphical user interface for the intuitive and user-friendly operation of AEOS
Nedap Security Management will attend Security Essen 2010, the World Forum for Security and Fire Prevention, which will be held from 5 through 8 October 2010 at the Messe of Essen, Germany. The trade fair unites over 40,000 security experts from 115 countries who are interested in the latest innovative products and services in the field of security and fire prevention from more than 1,100 exhibitors.

At Security Essen, Nedap Security Management will launch AEOS 3.0 with a completely revised graphical user interface for the intuitive and user-friendly operation of AEOS.

Nedap will also present AEOS IP Video Management, a truly native video integration which goes technologically well beyond existing DVR and even open platform based solutions. Live and stored video images can be viewed by means of AEOS faces, part of the AEOS front end suite, while offering complete freedom of camera choice and storage media based upon industry standards. Moreover, images can be stored on an AEpu (controller) attached hard drive which significantly reduces bandwidth and network load issues.

Furthermore, Security Essen will be the opportunity to get to know AEOS Locker Management, the perfect tool to enable administrators to authorise carriers to claim any randomly available locker. With this feature it is now possible for a person to claim any free locker by presenting his access badge at the locker's Nedap lock, which supports Mifare DESfire technology, amongst others. The dynamic locker functionality makes locker management more efficient and flexible and is ideal for flex work environments.

In addition, Nedap Security Management will focus on the possibilities of its single management platform AEOS, which can combine several security disciplines, such as access control, intrusion detection and video surveillance, on one single controller and within one server environment. Thanks to this generic solution it is no longer necessary to have separate dedicated systems to perform these security functions. Everything can be handled from one single user interface, making it easier for system users to handle alarms quickly and effectively.

To learn more about Nedap and AEOS, visit Security Essen, from 5 through 8 October 2010, Hall 3, stand number 612.
