Security management platform from Nedap wins innovation award at MIPS 2010
Best Innovation Product demonstrates the newest achievements in the safety and security industry

Nedap Security Management has received the Innovative Product award for its security management platform AEOS. The award ceremony took place during the gala reception of the MIPS, the Moscow International Exhibition "Protection, Security and Fire Safety".

The purpose of the "Best Innovation Product" contest is to demonstrate and promote the newest achievements in the safety and security industry for the Russian market. Nedap has won the award in the category: Access Monitoring and Control Systems.

The assessment criteria were, amongst others: uniqueness and novelty of the concept, high quality and filling free niches in the Russian market. The opinion of the jury: Nedap AEOS is a really unique innovative product for the Russian market. The particular interest is represented by such system facilities as virtual PLC-programming of controllers and the possibility to work with peer-to-peer communication.

Nedap AEOS allows creating conceptually new solutions, which provide safety at considerably higher level in comparison with possibilities of other alternative security solutions.

As a result, the scientific and technical council of the Architecture and Urban Development Committee of Moscow City, whose representatives were part of the jury, recommended implementing Nedap AEOS at the official Register of new Techniques and in the Moscow territorial building catalogue for application on Moscow's objects.

The award was handed over to Mr. Evgeniy Kin, Account Manager Nedap Russia, and Mr. Jos van Nederpelt, Business Development Manager Nedap Security Management.

Mr. Evgeniy Kin says: "We are proud to have received this award, which represents recognition for AEOS in the Russian market where we have only recently started our activities."
