Nedap Security Management to exhibit its latest surveillance products at IFSEC 2010
The Nedap Security Management booth will include the AP6003, Nedap's innovative IP access controller
Nedap will attend the International Fire and Security Exhibition and Conference, IFSEC, which will be held from 10 to 13 May 2010 in the National Exhibition Centre (NEC) of Birmingham, the United Kingdom. The exhibition unites over 25,000 security professionals with more than 600 world leading companies.

At the IFSEC, Nedap Security Management will present its Graphical Alarm Handler, a web-based tool to handle alarms in AEOS. This powerful application gives security managers a clear overview of the security status of the premises; thanks to the graphical representation of buildings, floor plans and alarm points, they have a convenient instrument to visualise and control alarms. Everything the security manager should know, such as the status of doors, armed intrusion points, alarm points, etc. is immediately visible in the Graphical Alarm Handler.

The IFSEC will also be the opportunity to get to know the AEOS feature Visitor Management, the perfect tool to make a professional and hospitable impression on visitors. The module offers an excellent solution to manage a company's flow of visitors. It provides a way to implement the company's security policy and to obtain reliable information on visitors and visits. With Visitor Management it is possible to record the relevant data of a visitor in the AEOS system, allocate the visitor to a contact person and enable an employee to assign a badge to the visitor with the applicable (visitor) authorisation template. From then on, all badge movements are logged and can be tracked.

In addition, the Nedap Security Management booth will include the AP6003, Nedap's innovative IP access controller that communicates with an AEpu via Ethernet instead of the traditional AEbus. This offers great flexibility and helps customers optimise their investment. As customers can decide to use their existing IP infrastructure, they can save considerably on the costs of installing and maintaining the infrastructure.

Nedap Security Management will share its booth with the Nedap business unit Automatic Vehicle Identification (AVI). Nedap AVI will show its newest reader: the uPASS Reach. This reader offers long range vehicle identification up to 4 meters [12ft] using the latest UHF technology. Based on battery-free passive UHF transponders it provides a reliable, cost-effective and enduring solution for parking access. The uPASS Reach is the perfect cure to the problems characteristic of prox and it's ideally suited for upgrading those installations as the reader can easily be installed on a gooseneck with no need for additional mounting accessories or rewiring. In addition to the introduction of this new reader, Nedap AVI will also show and demonstrate its unique solution for simultaneous driver and vehicle identification at long range, as well as its vehicle management application.

All in all you can expect to be pleasantly surprised with a visit to stand B65 in Hall 4 at IFSEC 2010 from 10 to 13 May.
