| The hardware of Nedap's access control system AEOS received a GOST-R Certificate of Conformity in Russia |
In 1992 a Russian law came into force making it mandatory that a wide range of products for the Russian Federation are tested and certified in accordance with the GOST-R standards. The GOST-R Certificate of Conformity certifies the quality of products and their compliance with contractual terms.
Jos van Nederpelt, Business Development Manager for Eastern Europe at Nedap, says: "We're very happy to receive this certification. The GOST-R Certificate of Conformity is a powerful tool to demonstrate the quality of our product to our Russian customers. This certificate allows products to enter the Russian Federation, so we have made sure that we have Russian product sheets and installation manuals available. We have even developed a complete AEOS user interface in Russian."
