Highlighting the value of an enhanced product offering boasting a Millbank voice response system

Vision Systems is pleased to announce another successful collaboration with leading security and fire protection services provider Chubb who specified integrated systems solution for both The National Waterfront Museum in Swansea and The Welsh Assembly Building in Cardiff.

Underlining the success of Vision Systems recent acquisition of Voice Alarm specialist Millbank, the system designed by Chubb's Scott Philips and project managed by Barry Parker delivers the extended capability of Vision Systems fire protection and security video product offerings, which now incorporates Millbank's voice response systems.

Working to Parker's exacting specifications, Vision Systems provided an advanced integrated systems' solution.  Featuring a powerful combination of VESDA™ LaserCOMPACT and LaserPLUS early warning smoke detectors, and the award-winning ADPRO remote video surveillance system, in addition to a sophisticated Millbank VeriFIRE voice alarm system, Chubb has successfully realised their objective, providing an innovative multi-purpose system on the cutting edge of contemporary systems' designs.

The 30.8 m National Waterfront Museum in Swansea, designed by Wilkenson Eyre Architects, is set to open on schedule in August 2005 and will showcase the story of Wales' industrial and maritime history and its role in shaping today's economy and society.

Barry Parker commented: "Having worked with Millbank for many years, its integration into the Vision Systems' portfolio made perfect sense.  Sitting alongside ADPRO and VESDA, it provides the voice response, an increasing essential element of any security system, which is becoming mandatory for public venues in line with the recent BS8418 legislation."

He continued: "Streamlining operations by offering a complementary range of advanced solutions in house, Visions Systems' product offering is in line with the future demands of modern installations."

Neil Voce, Sales and Business Development Director of Voice Response Systems at Vision Systems added: "We are responding to a need amongst our customers to supply a truly integrated early warning solution and look forward to working with specifiers and installers to develop our approach in years to come."

Vision Systems has also recently collaborated with Chubb's Scott Philips to offer an advanced multi-purpose system for Cardiff's  £50 million Welsh Assembly Building designed by Lord Richard Rodgers.
