 ObjectVideo's video content analysis will strengthens airport and passenger security
ESP Group, an innovative broadband, mobile, ICT, broadcasting technology systems integrator and solution provider, and ObjectVideo®, the leader in intelligent video, recently announced that they have partnered to provide a complete video surveillance system with embedded video content analysis to 40 Norwegian airports.  The framework contract win by ESP Group with Avinor, the owner and operator of Norway's airports, will leverage advanced video content analysis software from ObjectVideo to dramatically increase Norwegian airport and passenger security.

Under the contract, ESP Group will supply 40 Avinor-operated airports with SoIP™ Intelligence, its integrated video surveillance system that includes the ObjectVideo® OnBoard™ digital signal processor-based suite of intelligent video software.  This intelligent system will help strengthen airport security through rules-based event detection, classification, tracking and real-time alerting.  "With this system in place, all passengers will benefit from increased airport security when they travel," said Bjorn Bekkevold, CEO of ESP Group. "ESP Group is proud to have been chosen for such an important project, one that will help ensure the security of so many travelers across Norway."

SoIP™ Intelligence is built on ESP Group's innovative SoIP™ (Security over IP) technology platform.  It is available as a managed solution where ESP Group owns, operates, maintains and services the systems from its specialized national operations center, delivering the full solution to the customer via the Internet.
