Ian Foxley has joined the Vemotion Interactive team to spearhead Business Development in the Defence and Security sectors
Foxley provides an eclectic blend of defence, security and commercial experience

Vemotion Interactive, specialists in live video transmission over low bandwidth connections, announced that Ian Foxley has joined the team to spearhead Business Development in the Defence and Security sectors.

"Ian's balance of military expertise and experience, commercial awareness and familiarity with the security environment makes him the ideal person to work on our Defence and Security projects for real-time video surveillance over existing infrastructure and, in particular, over the mobile network," explained Stewart McCone, Managing Director of Vemotion Interactive. "Having just joined the company, Ian immediately became actively involved in our activities at the recent DSEi, PSE and Milipol trade events and we are delighted to have him on the team," added McCone.

Foxley provides an eclectic blend of defence, security and commercial experience with over 24 years in the British Army, including field work in the IT and Communications area (Royal Signals), command of an armoured troupe, involvement in a field-based arctic warfare project, and activities within the parachute squadron as well as operations in the headquarter and divisional signal regiment when on operations in Bosnia.

Foxley brings more than his expertise as an exceptional field officer; his non-field experiences include working in operational requirements for the MOD in Whitehall and 2 years in special projects for Homeland Security research and development programs.

Since leaving the army, Foxley has worked on large scale projects in the commercial sector with time spent as Operations Director for Multitone Electronics and as IT and Property Director for Domino's Pizza, rebuilding their IT Infrastructure throughout the UK and Ireland. In the last 5 years, Foxley has been directly involved in the build-out of large, low latency, high security national fibre optic network systems for global markets.
