Industry leading solutions on display for terminal security and operational management

CEM Systems, part of Tyco Fire & Security will display a range of advanced industry leading solutions for airports, airlines and ports at Passenger Terminal Expo, Stand 2078

With over 80% of UK airports and many other large airports worldwide using a CEM access control system, the Passenger Terminal Expo will offer CEM the opportunity to share worldwide industry experience on the use of access control as a means of securing and monitoring terminal activity.

The only airport specific access system available today...

On display will be a range of integrated solutions, including the leading AC2000 AE (Airport Edition) system.   Installed at many of the world's busiest and prestigious airports, such as Hong Kong, Vancouver, Heathrow and Gatwick, the CEM AC2000 AE system is the only airport specific solution available today.  Specifically designed for the unique airport environment, AC2000 AE is highly reliable and resilient offering integrated access control, alarm monitoring and ID badging.  Going beyond the scope of access control, the system offers a host of operational modules and features specifically customised for airports.  These features are achieved using CEM advanced card readers that offer airport specific door modes such as check-in desk enabling, passenger segregation, airbridge monitoring etc.  Ideal for the airport environment the readers have an LCD display, keypad and internal database, ensuring zero system downtime and critical operation at all times.

Also on display will be a range of solutions for ports and airlines, including the CEM S3010 portable hand head reader, which allows roaming security checks throughout the terminal.  Port clients include Belfast Harbour, Port of Cork, Dún Laoghaire harbour and Port of Genoa.

"As a leader in aviation security management excellence, Passenger Terminal Expo is set to be a prominent event for CEM.  As well as demonstrating our customised and integrated security systems, CEM representatives will be available to discuss emerging and leading solutions in the aviation industry", commented Philip Verner, Marketing Manager at CEM Systems.  "With our experience and client base CEM has a fully operational solution for all airport, port and airline clients."
