Samsung continues to be environmental leader

GVI Security today announced that Samsung Electronics has increased its score from 6.9 to 7.1 in the Greenpeace International "Guide to Greener Electronics" by "committing to reduce its absolute emissions of greenhouse gasses, despite growth in the company's sales."

GVI Security is the strategic partner of Samsung Electronics throughout the Americas. The company offers the complete Samsung Electronics line of products and integrated security solutions, which enable intelligent video surveillance.

"We continue to do our part to add to the Samsung legacy in environmental policies," adds Steve Walin, GVI CEO. "Not only is environmental protection practicing good corporate stewardship but, more and more, customers are requiring it.

Therefore, we use recycled paper on all of our business cards, catalogues, brochures, packaging and other paper goods used in production. Since Samsung Electronics already complies to RoHS (Restriction on Hazardous Substances) directives in production, a growing consideration of more and more companies in the Americas, we can assure our customers that our solutions already meet such standards."
