Telindus Surveillance Solutions (TSS), which develops high quality video surveillance solutions, launches its new Centauri platform at IFSEC in Birmingham this week - the security show that buyers say is the leading global event for the security industry.  TSS exhibits in booth 19132.

The continuously increasing number of cameras makes it more and more difficult to operate a surveillance network in an efficient way.  Constraints on monitoring all cameras, increase in storage requirements and costs and the time consuming process of retrieving stored images are only some of the examples of the existing limitations.

Building on the continued success of the award winning Centauri, Telindus Surveillance Solutions have developed a new Centauri platform which allows integration of innovative technologies to provide automation and intelligence, maximising surveillance efficiency in different domains.

"The New Centauri is our fourth generation Video Surveillance product and builds on the success of the previous generations.  Our solution is to focus on improving daily operational surveillance efficiency, significantly improve both incident detection and prevention rates, speed up the post event analysis and evidence gathering process and dramatically reduce the amount of recorded video, saving significant costs.  Within the product we have the capability to download new video codecs and video analytics, hence maximising the capabilities to integrate future technologies," says Dr Ken Sutherland, Solutions Director at Telindus Surveillance Solutions.

These are all key features that make our solutions ideally suited for a large range of markets, such as airports, ports, highways, rail and metro, as well as for city centres, high-end retail, industry, finance, education, health and smaller transportation projects in a cost effective way.
