VideoIQ, the recognised leader in advanced video analytic surveillance solutions, recently announced the availability of the Rialto I4, a compact video analytic appliance that supports up to four IP channels and is compatible with 3rd party IP and thermal cameras.

Easily upgrade small deployments with self learning analytics

The Rialto I4 (“I” stands for IP) enables businesses to enhance new or existing IP surveillance systems with cutting edge intelligence and analytics, without replacing their entire solution. It is easy to install and optimised for low bandwidth/remote deployments. The I4 Is integrated with View and VideoIQ Mobile (iOS and Android) which enables businesses to effectively monitor their facility via their desktop, smartphone, Tablet or with the help of a central monitoring station. When a suspicious activity is detected, live alerts and video are sent directly to a designated responder- an end-user, on-site security personnel or a professional monitoring partner.

The Rialto I4 supports either 4 D1 or 2 1080p HD security cameras per unit with onboard storage options of either a 500GB HDD or 40GB SSD for months or days of storage respectively. Its form factor, ease of use and price make it an ideal choice for small camera deployments that could benefit from the power of analytics. When deployed with VideoIQ Mobile, the I4 is one of the most affordable and intelligent prevention solutions available to the small business community.

The goal is prevention.

The Rialto I4 enable s users to seamlessly upgrade existing IP surveillance systems with advanced analytics that accurately detect and alert on events that need immediate attention. Self - learning technology means these analytics get smarter with every incident, so businesses can expect superior event detection accuracy without compromising safety and security. Together with live event monitoring options, VideoIQ helps prevent bad things from happening. The Rialto I4 is scheduled for general release in June 2013 through the VideoIQ worldwide network of distribution partners and dealers. Pre - orders for the I4 will begin immediately.
