David Asquith has been appointed as the Regional Manager (North East) for Axis Security
David Asquith has been appointed Regional Manager (North East) for Axis Security, the nationwide manned guarding and electronic security business.

One of the UK's fastest growing security businesses, Axis is renowned for providing high-level security for a number of prestigious organisations in the North East, including Rolls Royce, Goodman and Komatsu.

David is responsible for the supervision, management and general day-to-day running of all contracts, ultimately maintaining the high levels of service that the Axis ethos is built upon. Operating from the recently opened Newcastle branch, David reports to Richard Jemson, National Operations Director.

His initial task has been to retain existing key customers during tough economic conditions and attract new business: "My first priority has been to keep raising the already impressive profile of Axis Security in the North East," he says. "We are competing with the major players for contracts and I feel that they are now becoming aware of who we are and what we stand for."

"The economy in the North-East is on the up and so there are a growing number of contracts out there to tender for. We have already been successful on several fronts and, whilst it is not an easy challenge, it is one I am very much looking forward to.

Orginally from Barnsley, David lives in Northumberland and is married with three children.
