The 3G BiKal Bar Camera is built to home use
BiKal Candy Bar Cam available in all Maplin stores
Maplin, the well-known electronics retailer, has recently introduced the revolutionary BiKal Candy Bar Cam to its UK customers.  Although Maplin have experienced a 70% increase in sales of domestic security cameras in the past year, many home users are still apprehensive about the difficulty in installing such security equipment.  The BiKal Candy Bar Cam is the perfect response to such anxiety as it can be easily installed by home users in less than 1 minute.

"We have had ongoing discussions with Maplin and chose to launch the BiKal Candy Bar Cam through Maplin in response to their customer feedback," explained Axel Baumgarten, VP of Distribution for Securicorp Components Ltd.  "The 3G access to the BiKal Candy Bar Cam is a great function for home users.  However, overcoming networking fears was a prime objective for both Maplin and us.  The BiKal range is specifically built to reduce these fears.  The BiKal Candy Bar Cam has a 30 second router configuration set-up!"

The 3G function, wireless application and true ‘plug-n-play' access are the key features of the BiKal Candy Bar Cam.  These features position the BiKal Candy Bar Cam as a unique alternative to all current domestic CCTV solutions.  "The Maplin partnership is just in time for the Christmas period which is an important time for security," stated Mr. Baumgarten.  "We hope that the BiKal Candy Bar Cam will enable users to feel truly safe so they can focus on enjoying the season's festivities."

The BiKal Candy Bar Cam will be available in all Maplin stores.
