Protection 1, the second-largest business and home security company in the U.S., generated significant interest and booth traffic at ASIS 2012, setting the stage for a strong finish to an action-packed year. Known as a must-attend event for anyone in the security industry, ASIS 2012 served as a valuable platform for Protection 1 to promote its newest service offerings and entertain clients as a show of appreciation.

“ASIS 2012 was a huge success for Protection 1,” said Chief Marketing Officer, Jamie Haenggi. “We used the show to display how Protection 1 is different in the national account space, and I feel like our booth and customer entertainment reflected that. We saw particular interest around our integrated system capabilities, as well as Protection 1’s approach to business intelligence.”

Protection 1 is well-equipped to accommodate this interest, given its acquisition announcement on Monday. The company acquired Newark, Del.-based Integration Logistics, adding new integrated systems capabilities to its commercial and national account security offerings.

In addition, ESPN Radio’s Mike Greenberg and Mike Golic were on hand at the Protection 1 booth. The hosts of “Mike & Mike in the Morning” partnered with Protection 1 back in the spring to participate in TV commercials and radio ads.To leverage this brand-building initiative, the duo spent time at the booth answering questions from the crowd, taking pictures with Protection 1 customers and hosting the Protection 1 Free Throw Challenge, where the winner received a trip for two to see a Mike & Mike taping live, as well as a behind-the-scenes tour of ESPN. Greenberg and Golic were also able to spend time one-on-one with customers during Protection 1’s customer appreciation event.
