Featuring this Smart Tracking function, Hikvision's DS-2DF7286 series of network PTZ cameras detects moving objects and follows them within the camera’s area of coverage
Hikvision’s DS-2DF7286 network PTZ dome camera won the Gold Medal for its Smart Tracking capability

Hikvision is extremely proud to announce that its DS-2DF7286 Network PTZ Dome Camera series has won the Securex 2014 Poznan International Fair (PIF) Gold Medal. The prize came for the DS-2DF7286’s Smart Tracking capability.

The PIF Gold Medal is one of the most recognised awards in the Polish market, and is granted only after a thorough assessment of the latest security products in this market. A strict set of criteria is used to select a winner from each year's newest batch of high-tech entries. The jury charged with choosing a winner was comprised of various leading specialists in the security world. Of these many products entered in the competition, only 23 were eventually chosen for the Gold Medal - with the DS-2DF7286 series included in this proud group.

“We are truly honoured to receive the PIF Gold Medal Prize. Importantly, this affirmation serves as a tool to reaffirm our customer's trust in the Hikvision brand," explained Tomasz Migdal, Hikvision Sales Manager for the Polish market. “Smart is the latest idea that aims to bring intelligence, efficiency, and convenience into every aspect of surveillance. The DS-2DF7286 series is specifically designed to deliver this concept to the market and convey the idea of smart security.”

Featuring this Smart Tracking function, Hikvision's DS-2DF7286 series of network PTZ cameras detects moving objects and follows them within the camera’s area of coverage. This is of special importance in locations where the occasional presence of people or vehicles require special attention. Additionally, this series offers a 30x optical zoom capability to provide the necessary detail for distant objects and suspicious individuals. Additionally, these PTZ cameras provide up-to 150m of IR surveillance, even in total darkness. Features such as these make this series an ideal solution for environments where tracking and zooming are paramount (such as airports, highways, stadiums, and scenic sites).

This DS-2DF7286 series has already been successfully applied in several vertical markets, including city surveillance, highways, and industrial parks. An excellent example of this usage is the recent Korean City Surveillance solution. In this application, more than 750 units of Hikvision's DS-2DF7286-A 2MP Network IR PTZ Dome Camera were installed in Seoul and its adjacent suburbs; helping make South Korea a safer environment for both vehicles and commuters.
