Hikvision Digital Technology Co., Ltd., the leading supplier of digital video surveillance products, announced that its mini vandal-proof network dome cameras DS-2CD7153-E and DS-2CD7133-E are now integrated with SeeTec's camera management software - SeeTec 5.

Hikvision DS-2CD7153-E is a 2-megapixel, vandal-proof, mini dome camera that delivers excellent video detail, while the DS-2CD7133-E supports real time video display at VGA resolution. Measuring only 1.8 inches in height, these cameras take up minimum space, simplifying installation.

SeeTec 5 is a modular and scalable system that builds on client-server architecture and can be expanded to fit any installation size. As one of the most powerful video surveillance software products on the market, SeeTec 5 is hardware-independent and interoperates with network cameras from many well-known manufacturers.

"For SeeTec it is essential to support a wide spectrum of manufacturers, covering a maximum of those features which are provided by the cameras," states Roland Keiser, Board Member and Chief Customer Officer at SeeTec. "As Hikvision's importance in several markets is growing, we are happy to support Hikvision products from our current software release 5.3.5 on."

"We have been proactively pursuing the partnership with all industry-leading software providers," said Tony Yang, International Market Director of Hikvision. "SeeTec 5 is a powerful management platform with strong flexibility and scalability, integrating with SeeTec's software exactly demonstrates our commitment to enhance the compatibility of our products and to offer customers the best-of-breed solutions."
