The seminar was held to promote Hikvision’s Turbo HD Analogue Solution and Western Digital’s Purple hard drives

Hikvision, the world’s leading supplier of video surveillance products and solutions, hosted a joint seminar with Western Digital, the leading supplier of hard drives, at the Ramada Hotel in Dubai on September 18. The seminar was held to promote the latest technologies from both companies: Hikvision’s Turbo HD Analogue Solution and WD’s Purple hard drives, attracting over 100 security professionals from more than 50 companies.

The seminar consisted of two segments. The first segment featured presentations of Hikvision corporate development and its successful vertical applications, as well as a live demonstration of Hikvision’s Turbo HD Analogue Solution.

As a top-notch technology, Hikvision’s Turbo HD Analogue solution proves Hikvision’s dedication to R&D and technological innovation. It enables up to 500m HD video transmission over existing coaxial cable and offers seamless compatibility with traditional SD cameras, HDTVI-compliant cameras and DVRs, as well as IP cameras. During the demonstration, the attendees were impressed by the product’s image performance, system compatibility and rich features.

During the second segment, experts from WD introduced their latest Purple hard drives. Designed specifically for video surveillance units, these hard drives excel in new and existing home and small business security environments with up to eight hard drives and up to 32 high-definition (HD) video cameras. Further advantages of the product include up to 4TB of hard drive space, making the WD Purple the largest surveillance drive on the market.

“This seminar was a great success. It helps our customers better understand Hikvision technical capabilities and solutions available in the Middle East market,” commented Max Wei, General Manager of the Hikvision Middle East branch. “We are excited to be co-marketing with WD to showcase our latest technologies and products, and we look forward to working together with them in the future.”

“The storage and integrity of video surveillance data is a crucial aspect of modern security systems. This joint seminar allowed us to demonstrate the unsurpassed reliability, quality and peace of mind that the WD Purple hard drive offers Hikvision and security professionals when storing their valuable video data,” said Khwaja Saifuddin, Senior Sales Director for WD Middle East, Africa & South Asia. “The drive is designed with exclusive AllFrame technology to reduce video data errors and video interruptions. It is also durable for today’s 24/7 always-on video surveillance applications amidst harsh environmental conditions.”
