Hikvision announced the release of its “Effio” series of analog cameras. This camera, based on Sony’s “Effio” series DSP, boasts advanced technical features such as a high horizontal resolution of over 650TVL (in combination with the 960H CCD image sensor), enhanced low light capability, WDR, and 3D digital noise reduction. This unique combination makes Hikvision’s “Effio” cameras the ideal solution for security applications such as financial institutions, industry parks and any other environment where outstanding image quality is required!

Notably differing from other manufacturers’ analogue cameras based on “Effio” series DSP, Hikvision’s “Effio” cameras are equipped with a user-friendly OSD menu to improve the customer experience, as well as an optimized internal structure and circuit design for higher reliability. Of particular note is the ability of the Hikvision “Effio” to support Smart IR functionality, thereby allowing clear images without the fear of overexposure (infrared light is automatically adjusted when the subject draws closer to the camera).

While Hikvision’s “Effio” cameras provide a clearer video, the benefits of 960H technology is most fully realized in conjunction with Hikvision’s excellent line of DVR products. Pairing Hikvision’s high-end 960H standalone DVR with the “Effio” camera creates a truly vivid 960H world!
