Hikvision’s network cameras join forces with Mirasys NVR solution
Hikvision camera compatibility with Mirasys NVRs means flexibility to build an effective solution with both brands
Hikvision Digital Technology Co., Ltd., the leading supplier of digital video surveillance products, announced that its full line of H.264 network cameras are now supported by the Mirasys NVR (Network Video Recorder) solutions including NVR Pro and NVR Enterprise. In addition to the NVR products, Hikvision's network cameras also integrate into Mirasys N series network video recorders and V series hybrid video recorders.

Hikvision's network cameras utilise the latest H.264 video codec, enabling superior video quality using less bandwidth and storage. The cameras support dual compression stream, in which the sub-stream allows for remote preview and mobile phone monitoring.

The Mirasys NVR Pro is a single-server IP video recording product aimed at the retail and small business client, with support for up to 32 cameras. The Mirasys NVR Enterprise offers a comprehensive security platform with automated processes, tools for pro-active fraud and loss detection, and post-active investigation. NVR Enterprise supports up to 5000 IP and analogue cameras, which can be managed as a single system independent of location.

Jukka Riivari, CEO of Mirasys, is pleased with the integration: "Hikvision is growing rapidly in many markets where Mirasys is also gaining momentum. Hikvision camera compatibility with Mirasys NVRs means that businesses now have the flexibility to build an effective solution with both brands."

Tony Yang, International Market Director of Hikvision, said: "We are excited to have Mirasys supporting our network cameras, and this movement strengthens Hikvision's initiative to provide higher value IP surveillance products and solutions by incorporating the world's top-notch video management software."
