Mark Thomas, Managing Director of i-Watch UK, is a guest speaker at IIPSEC in January 2008.Mark Thomas, managing director of iWatch UK, one of the country's leading Remote Video Response Centres (RVRCs), is a guest speaker at IIPSEC in January 2008.  Mark, a recognised expert on end-to-end CCTV monitoring, will present a seminar entitled "The Changing Landscape of IP Alarm and Visual Verification."

Mark's experience in the three key areas of successful monitoring, namely CCTV system installation, remote monitoring and video transmission equipment makes him a unique authority on this rapidly growing and highly effective area within the security industry.  Mark is a keen exponent of the British Standard 8418 and his company is among the first to truly grasp this standard's intention to reduce false alarms, reduce police call outs and ultimately improve crime prevention.

Mark's presentation will cover best practice in the installation, commissioning and operation of remote CCTV monitoring systems and will review the new and proven technologies available.
