MESSOA Technologies Inc. extended its outdoor PTZ dome network camera line with the release of the SPD970. The new 3-megapixel professional speed dome camera is designed for detailed surveillance in ultra-high definition requiring precise pan, tilt, and zoom capabilities, suitable for installations at seaports, streets, perimeters or large open public areas.

The 3-megapixel camera offers extra smooth video quality with resolution up to 30fps at 1080p. Powered by a superior 18X optical zoom capability with the highly responsive auto focus, the SPD970 guarantees wide area coverage and exceptional details when zooming in on areas of events or specific interests. The IP67-rated weatherproof SPD970 with a built-in heater can also operate in harsh outdoor environments for as low as -40°C and up to 50°C. The camera is also protected by an IK10 vandal-resistant dome enclosure, making it ideal for mission-critical applications.

In addition to its mechanical edge, the SPD970 makes quite a leap in terms of the image performance. Built upon the MESSOA’s Lumii Low Light Technology, the camera features 3DNR based on sophisticated algorithm to remove digital artifacts and grainy appearance from frame to frame. This technology results in much sharper low light images and more efficient resource utilization. The SPD970 also enhances its high-contrast performance with Ultra WDR, a new-generation WDR featuring sophisticated algorithm to allow the camera to capture greater scene details in high contrast settings or in scenes with extremely bright and dark areas.

For many of our customers who work on large-scale projects, the SPD970 will be a smart solution for seeing a bigger picture,” said Ervin Wang, Sales Director of MESSOA. “The SPD970 raises the standards for speed dome cameras by delivering high definition video up to 3MP backed by exceptional PTZ capability and our well-proven image processing capability. It is recommended for professional applications, such as city surveillance, border monitoring, and transportation security.”

The SPD970 further features true day/night with mechanical ICR, PoE+ support, local storage, and many other advanced functions that add versatility to this sturdily-built outdoor speed dome camera.
