GEO cylinder and XS4 Locker Lock went equally popular at the show
SALTO exhibited its range of access control systems at Hospitality 2011

Hotel operators were highly impressed with the new Aelement RFID hotel lock exhibited by SALTO Systems at the recent Hospitality 2011 show at the NEC, Birmingham. This annual event, which alternates between Excel London and the NEC, is the largest foodservice and hospitality show covering food & drink, catering equipment, interiors, exteriors & tableware, careers and technology.

The dedicated UK hospitality technology event within the show, separately branded as Hostec, presents all the new products a hotel, restaurant or bar owner needs to improve their hospitality business efficiency.

Whether its access control systems, payment systems, revenue management software, or the latest in-room entertainment, Hostec was the best place to see all the latest products on offer under one roof. The Aelement RFID hotel lock made a great impression on visitors, and the many hotel operators at the show commented on its fresh design and aesthetic good looks. The new GEO cylinder and XS4 Locker Lock were equally popular.

Ramesh Gurdev, SALTO UK Managing Director, said "Although the hotel market has had a tough couple of years in the UK, we were impressed by the number of hoteliers who visited the stand to talk about their refurbishment and upgrade projects. All were interested in keeping up with technological change and looking to replace traditional key systems or older, underperforming swipe or other access solutions with the latest systems to enhance building security and their guest experience."
