SALTO's access control seminar throws more light on the developing Nordic security market
Over 60 attendees learnt about the latest developments in the Nordic security market
SALTO Systems, world leaders in advanced wireless access control solutions, recently ran its first access control seminar in the Faroe Islands to provide public sector municipalities and schools, architects, engineers and advisors with a hands-on opportunity to explore the performance, functionality and advantages of the SALTO product line. The archipelago consists of 18 islands situated in the heart of the Gulf Stream in the North Atlantic at 62°00'N, and lies some 186 miles (300 kilometres) northwest of Scotland and halfway between Iceland and Norway.

Over 60 attendees learnt about the latest developments in the Nordic security market, the advantages of upgrading from master key and other less advanced electronic access systems, balancing the need for security with accessibility and safety, how to create specifications for access control solutions, SALTO SVN™ technology and new SALTO products.

Jesper Buch, SALTO Systems Nordic Business Development Manager, said: "This seminar was a great way to inform and influence key end-users and specifiers in the Faroe Islands on the latest advances in access control technology in a structured and comprehensive manner."

"Everyone who attended the event commented on how valuable it was for helping them to understand the technical capabilities and solutions available, and the seminar resulted in a number of external meetings with schools, architects and hotels to secure SALTO as the preferred access control system of choice."
