SALTO’s German business unit has a new General Manager, Axel Schmidt
Axel Schmidt, General Manager, SALTO Germany
SALTO Systems, world leader in advanced battery powered wireless access control solutions, has appointed Axel Schmidt as General Manager of its new German Business Unit.

Schmidt is perfectly placed to head up the new operation based at Gevelsberg, some 40 minutes from Düsseldorf, Cologne and the Ruhr Metropolis. He has a wealth of experience from almost 15 years with the world market leader in door controls, movable walls and glass fittings and accessories, and headed their Security Time and Access Division from the year 2000. He is a Mechanical Engineering as well as an Industrial Engineering and Management Graduate and is also an active member of many important industry committees in Germany.

His new role will be to continue the rapid growth of SALTO's market share in Germany and further promote the companies comprehensive range of wireless and wire free advanced access control solutions across all industry sectors, as well as supporting distributors, installers, end-users and consultants.
