Water World, one of the largest water parks in the US
SALTO Systems now provides optimum locker security and cashless environment at Water World in Denver, CO.

Water World, one of the largest water parks in the US, has partnered with SALTO Systems to have the latest in locker security and to offer their customers greater comfort and ease in making purchases throughout the property by using the Salto's "cashless environment" solutions.

The 65-acre water park, features thrilling rides like Journey to the Center of the Earth, Flatline and Zoomerang. Water World is now utilizing the SALTO i-Locker solution: an RFID-enabled lock that installed in the existing lockers throughout the park. The lock allows guests to rent a locker by simply presenting their RFID wristband to the reader. The guests no longer need to fill their pockets with quarters or purchase keys that are easily lost.

"The savings in maintenance costs have been tremendous" says Bob Owens, the Director of Operations for Water World. "In the past, guests would misplace keys and we would have to make new ones to make sure it was secure. Now, we can simply cancel a user's band from the system and issue a new one."

The park also made their guest's experience more convenient thanks to the "cashless environment" created throughout the water park. Salto's security system integrates with other vending companies already present at Water World, which gives the guest the ability to purchase food, merchandise and locker rentals using the wristband provided upon entering the park.

"The key to creating the cashless system in park as large as Water World is to have strong business partner relationships so that integration among the different service providers is streamlined," said Doug Bourque, the VP of Sales from Precision Dynamics. "Water World's use of the SPLASH CASH wristbands for guest purchases has proven to be a huge success for both Water World and their guests. Adding Salto's security features to the wristband bring even more value."

Water World now offers its guests the latest in thrilling water rides, the latest in convenient cashless purchasing, and the latest in guest security, making Water World the clear leader in 21st Century water parks.
