SALTO Systems will showcase its latest products at Intersec Middle East |
"The unique new XS4 RFID networked lock set is a new technology with unlimited possibilities allowing it to be used for a huge range of access control applications," continues Hage. XS4 RFID can be programmed in 3 management modes - users simply choose the initial level of control they need. From a simple self-programmable system that needs no computer to manage it, through a highly capable mid-range ROM system up to the high performance data on card SVN technology that allows users to control all the doors in an entire building or group of buildings from a singe PC.
Other SALTO product highlights at the show will include the RFID e-cylinder and the SALTO Virtual Network (SVN) system.
The RFID e-cylinder offers users an ultra-modern access control solution for use on doors where the fitting of a conventional electronic handset is not always possible. It can be used with the majority of lock types including Europrofile and Swiss Round cylinder locks and its ‘anti-panic' facility means it can always be opened from the inside no matter what the situation. The cylinder provides automatic changing to and from daylight saving time and also incorporates a free access mode. It supports up to 64,000 users and its audit trail facility can store the last 1,000 events in its non-volatile flash memory.
And as IP solutions grow ever more popular, the SALTO Virtual Network delivers outstanding security control. It provides users with 90% of the benefits of a fully on-line access control system but at the cost of a stand-alone system. It operates via a combination of smart on-line and stand alone readers that act as ‘hotspot' data transfer points allowing users to manage their access control requirements in a secure, comprehensive, and comfortable way.
