Moxa provides integrated industrial networking solutions for safe and efficient vehicle passage |
A country´s backbone are its roads, tunnels and bridges, strained by the ever-increasing vehicle traffic that traverses them. Moxa delivers integrated industrial networking solutions for intelligent traffic management that ensure safe and efficient vehicle passage while balancing budgets and preventing congestion.
Intelligent traffic management solutions involve network systems that provide real-time current condition data from the harsh environments in and around tunnels, e-buses and trains. Moxa´s edge to core industrial Ethernet networking solutions with innovative flexible redundancy technologies enable secure high-performance 10/100M, 11G, 1G and 802.11n communications, and surveillance solutions. Devices with compact, fanless rugged design operate reliably in harsh environments from -40 to 75 °C, and they comply with the common industry certificates such as EN50155, EN 50121-3-2/-4, NEMA TS-2 and eMark.
Moxa´s edge-to-core switch portfolio facilitates the deployment of intelligent transportation management networks and enhances their performance, scalability, resilience and reliability. Moxa´s ICS-G7000 series of full Gigabit modular managed industrial core switches lead the way in easy application deployment for large scale industrial networks with up to 48 Gigabit Ethernet ports plus 4 10 Gigabit Ethernet ports, and Layer 3 routing functionality. The switches support the Turbo Ring, Turbo Chain, and RSTP/STP protocols for Ethernet redundancy, and they come with two isolated redundant power supplies (110/220V) to increase system reliability and the availability of network backbones. The switches are fanless with 0 to 60°C operating temperature. Deployed in the traffic management control center, the ICS-G7000 series serve as the high-speed backbone of the network and enable the connection with the data center.
Moxa´s comprehensive intelligent transportation solutions took place at Moxa Technologies booth C17 at IT-TRANS fair Karlsruhe, Germany from the15th to the 17th of February.
