Sony’s introduction of the IPELA Engine is just the latest example of our leading the way in video security innovation and keeping our installers ahead of the competition. The IPELA Engine delivers the industry’s highest picture quality, capable of the first 130dB wide dynamic range in full HD quality at 30 frames/second, thus dramatically enhancing image quality. This is especially important for backlight situations such like entrances and loading bays. The IPELA Engine integrates four industry-leading technologies – View-DR, High Frame Rate, DEPA Advanced and XDNR – which, together with the Exmor CMOS Image Sensor, deliver such high level performance.
Hybrid technology and migration solutions are vital issues for customers and installers alike. IFSEC demonstrates Sony’s leadership in this field, with migration technologies including encoder, hybrid recorder and Hybrid (IP over coax) cameras.
