Mango DSP's Raven HX 104 to be integrated in ICI's Wireless Network solutions.

Mango DSP, a leading provider of intelligent video servers for the CCTV, video surveillance, homeland security defense markets, and its affiliate ICI Networks, a leader in municipal wireless integrated systems, recently announced that the new ICI Wireless Metropolitan Base StationTM (WMBS) will now feature advanced video processing capabilities enabled by the integration of Mango DSP Raven HX 104 Intelligent Video Server into its Modular platform.

In response to growing customer requirements for cost effective wireless network integration of video processing technology, current and future customers of ICI's Wireless Metropolitan Base Station will now have the option to integrate the Mango DSP Raven HX 104 video server and transform standard analog video surveillance cameras into proactive sentinels that deliver reliable high performance video streaming and content analysis.

"ICI's ongoing product design strategy is not only to provide the highest level of performance and device flexibility, but to address the real needs of the end user device management and maintenance in the products themselves.  This entire product platform was created to be maintained by the municipality's own workers and to use existing resources.  The capability that the Mango DSP Raven HX-104 based module brings to this market is truly impressive", said Brian Casto, President & CEO from ICI Networks.

"The cooperation with ICI Networks is another step in delivering truly intelligent video solutions regardless of network, weather or environmental limitations.  We believe that the joint solution will be adopted by the market's leading integrators requiring wireless infrastructure," said Baruch Peled, CEO from Mango DSP Ltd.

The Modular platform of the Wireless Metropolitan Base Station has been designed to accommodate future technologies such as Mango DSP's video processing solutions through the use of industry standard hardware.  The modular platform, designed for cost effective flexibility, allows end users to 'hot-swap' device modules while maintaining network uptime.
