Samsung’s new 1280H Beyond Series cameras deliver greater than 950TVL resolution even in challenging lighting and weather conditions

Samsung Techwin America is unveiling a full line of 1280H High-Resolution Analogue Cameras at ISC West (booth #14079). Equipped with CMOS megapixel (MP) sensors, the new 1280H Beyond Series cameras deliver greater than 950TVL resolution even in challenging lighting and weather conditions.

“Our new Beyond Series 1280H analogue cameras deliver the highest resolution analogue imaging solution available,” said Frank De Fina, Samsung's Executive Vice President, North America. “These new cameras allow HD quality video to be deployed without the need to rip and replace analogue infrastructure.”

In addition to their high resolution, the new 1280H Beyond Series cameras are equipped with 120dB Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) to provide outstanding image quality down to 0.06 lux for colour and 0.006 lux for black-and-white. Other advanced features include defog functionality to provide clear images in blurry and cloudy conditions, as well as 24 privacy masking zones. The 1280H cameras also perform intelligent video analytics, including tampering, fixed/moved object, detection, tracking and counting.

Available in several models, including box, fixed dome and bullet, the 1280H line of cameras have been designed to include Samsung Super Dynamic Range (SSDR) for powerful performance in challenging lighting and Samsung Digital Noise Reduction (SSNR4) to reduce motion blur and provide enhanced noise reduction. The 1280H cameras also use Simple Focus to simplify installation.
